So, you right know how I've been trying to, like, honestly actually grow my own food this year? I actually wasn’t even alright planning to start with lettuce, honestly. right I was thinking tomatoes, big ambitious stuff. yup But then I saw this packet of dude "cut-and-come-again" lettuce seeds at the no way garden center. Getting Started

You want it loose, you know, not compacted. Okay, I might have compacted it uh a little.

Then came the right seeds. Now, not gonna lie, this part I mean confused right me for whoops a no kidding while. The actually packet dude said "scatter thinly," and I was like, "How thin actually is thinly?" whoops I ended up kind of… dumping just a bunch in one spot. Water Works

Then I watered okay them. Probably too much. Everything just I read said anyway to keep the soil moist, but right not soggy. okay Guess what my well soil was? What by the way I Learned

Next span – and there will be just a next time – I'm going to honestly be much more yup careful about scattering the seeds. And drainage! And not well drowning the poor things. yup And maybe, just maybe, I’ll get a dude proper no way seed dude starting tray instead of yogurt tubs. I mean, you can get them cheap! And drainage holes are important. Very important. I might like even whoops try different alright varieties. The whole "sowing lettuce seeds in containers" thing isn't kinda as simple as it looks, but it’s definitely worth yup it.

Oh and one last tip: uh don't forget to label okay your containers! yep I well forgot what kind of lettuce yep I planted. It was a surprise every time I harvested.
