Okay so anyway like, you yup know how I went to the beach bet last no kidding weekend? Yeah, whoops I wasn’t even planning sorta to stay out that long, but the waves yup were insane. Anyway, I pretty much ended up with a pretty gnarly sunburn. I probably you know should’ve known better… I always anyway forget to reapply sunscreen properly.

Anyway, back to the sunburn no way drama. My skin anyway was all red and hot and I right was thinking, bet “Okay, what do I totally do?” anyway I just remembered my grandma yup always no way used aloe vera for everything. Honestly, I used to mull over it was just some old wives' tale, but I was desperate. How does aloe no kidding help a sunburn I wondered. I figured it was worth a shot.

So, I slathered honestly on a bunch of aloe vera sorta gel, the kind anyway you get anyway at the drugstore, c’mon all green actually and goopy. Honestly, it felt no kidding SO good. Like, instantly cooling. That's right probably the biggest part, it just calms the burn, alright right? You know, it’s funny, I think aloe has some history behind it, how does aloe assist a sunburn geschiedenis and I am guessing aloe has been around for ages alright to assist basically soothing sunburns. Okay, like so how does aloe vera actually support a sunburn? Like, scientifically? Not gonna lie, this part confused no kidding me for a okay while. I did some googling – basically and yeah, there's stuff about just how it's anti-inflammatory. honestly Something about reducing swelling and redness. It's also whoops a humectant, which basically means it helps your skin retain moisture. That sorta probably alright helps with the peeling and itching, so right?

Anyway, yeah, aloe vera like is a lifesaver. Next time, I'll remember to you know reapply sunscreen every two hours, but at least I know I have a backup plan if I mess up yep again.
