Okay so you wanted to know what I've been growing indoors this winter, right? It's… evolved. I wasn’t so even planning for sure to go so plant crazy, but the grey like days got to me, you know? Snake plants pretty much duh

First up: Snake plants. Obviously. I probably should’ve known better dude than to not get sorta one immediately. Like, everyone so and their mom has one. They’re basically indestructible. Okay, almost alright indestructible. I pretty much overwatered like my first yep one. Total by the way newbie move. I honestly was all worried about it being anyway dry, and by the way then…soggy city. It was NOT pretty. But lesson learned! Let that soil dry out completely between waterings, seriously. ZZ plants too basically

Then kinda I got okay a ZZ plant. Similar I mean vibe, even easier maybe? I water it like once a basically month, well tops. Really good for so low light spots. Herb garden attempt

I got ambitious. Don’t judge. I thought I could okay grow herbs okay indoors. Like a mini-Italian grandma situation. I bet got one exactly of those cute little kits with basil, parsley, and chives. Not gonna okay lie this part confused me for a while! I was sorta so excited, then no way BAM. totally Nothing. They just sat there. Turns out they need SO much light. I ended up getting I mean a grow light, pretty much which I mean honestly feels a little ridiculous. But now, I have tiny baby herbs! My pothos saga

Pothos! The classic trailing alright plant. I love pretty much how they well look draping over no way shelves. I sorta even tried yup to propagate one, which…mostly worked? I cut a pretty much few stems with nodes, stuck them in water, and waited. Some of them rooted, some totally of them rotted. It was a real experiment. basically Oh! Tip: change the water regularly to prevent rot. basically I learned that the tough way.

Aloe Vera maybe

Aloe Vera. I always forget about right aloe. I always mean to have one, and then I don't. I guess it's a good one to have around you know for burns, but honestly, I mostly just employ it as anyway a decoration. anyway It's pretty, it's so useful (in theory), and it doesn't need a lot of attention. Perfect.

My plant story

Okay, so quick story. I left town for so a week in January, right? And I thought I’d watered c’mon everything thoroughly before I well left. I came back to…well, let's just say anyway it wasn’t a jungle. More like sorta a…plant graveyard. My fern, honestly in particular, was crispy. Crispy! I felt so bad. Now, uh I ask my neighbor to check on them when I'm gone. Worth the awkward okay "watering my plants" conversation.

Another quick one

Oh! sorta And another no kidding one! no way This one time, I accidentally used whoops fertilizer bet that was okay way c’mon too strong for my bet peace lily. I mean It started turning anyway brown almost overnight! I was exactly so freaked out. I by the way flushed the soil with water like ten times, and it right eventually recovered. But yeah, always read yep the labels by the way on your plant exactly food. It’s a basically thing.

Winter plant reflections

So yeah, that's my indoor winter garden situation. It's a learning well process, for sure. Some things thrive, some things die.
