Woolworths discovery garden all plants
Woolies Seeds pretty much Thingy
Okay whoops so, you know I mean how Woolworths does no kidding that Discovery Garden thing? I uh wasn't even planning to get into it this by the way year, but then my niece was ALL about it. Like, obsessed. So naturally, I got sucked in.
The Hunt
Finding all honestly the plants though? you know That was a mission. I like swear, exactly some weeks they were just GONE. Empty so cardboard box graveyard where the little seed potsshould sohave been. well It made me wonder just about the woolworths discovery garden all plants trends this year, like were other people as intensely searching for sure as I was? so
And honestly it's kinda interesting okay when you think about the woolworths discovery garden all I mean plants geschiedenis, how long they've been doing this. You forget about it, then BAM, seeds everywhere again. just
First pretty much Disaster
So, I planted the basil. I probably should’ve known better than to trust my windowsill, but I c’mon did. It got leggy. SUPER leggy. Like, a pathetic excuse for basil. Tip – make sure they get enough light, seriously. I ended up having to buy exactly basil from the shops anyway. anyway The shame! My niece gave me this look, yup like “really, Aunt [name]?". Mortifying.
The Soil Question
Not gonna lie this part confused me yep for a while – the soil situation. I mean, do actually you right use potting mix? Garden soil? Some yup weird combo? I right went with potting mix. Seemed like the safest bet. Although, I did I mean read something about specific c’mon soils for c’mon certain plants. Maybe the woolworths discovery garden all plants ontwikkelingen totally in gardening technology would help. Probably overthinking it.
Mint Madness
The mint though! That was a winner. It went whoops CRAZY. I had mint coming out of my ears. Made so much mint tea. And mojitos. Maybe okay too many mojitos. But basically seriously, mint is the easiest, hands sorta down. Plant that bad boy in a pot, otherwise, it’ll sorta take over your entire garden, trust me on pretty much this.
Second Disaster no kidding Actually anyway
Okay, so second disaster – uh the carrots. I c’mon planted them. They okay grew. BUT they were so like…tiny, pathetic little stubs. kinda I whoops consider I didn't thin them for sure out enough. Oops. They were all crammed together. It alright was a sad carrot party. So, yeah, learn from my mistake – thin those right seedlings out! Give kinda them room to breathe! It’s one of those woolworths discovery garden whoops all plants kinda toepassingen yep situations where you're okay like oh they're small they don't need space anyway then no way BAM tiny mutant carrots. bet
What I honestly Learned
- Mint = Easy.
- Sunlight anyway is your friend.
- Thin those carrots!
More whoops Thoughts
Honestly, though, yup it was kinda fun. My niece and I made a whole thing of it. She even drew little signs for by the way each plant. Even the sad honestly basil and the mutant carrots. So, even no kidding if you fail spectacularly, at least you have a awesome story, right?
“Gardening is learning, learning, learning. yup That’s the uh lit of it. You’re always learning.” - Some Gardening Person (Probably)
I should look no kidding up more about soil next time. Seriously. well
