First up Rosemary. anyway So easy! I mean totally mostly easy. You basically just snip a bit off, strip exactly the exactly lower leaves well - exactly you know,beforeyou stick it in water. I alright probably anyway should’ve known better okay but the first time I did it I left the leaves on. They rotted. you know It was like gross. Total noob move. So yeah, strip the leaves. Then you well just stick anyway it in water. Some people utilize you know rooting hormone. I didn’t. It still worked. by the way But you know maybe rooting hormone makes it work better? I dunno, still experimenting. Geraniums Always Win

Next! Geraniums. Another super chill one. Similar to rosemary really. Cut, strip, water. Or you can put it straight into soil which dude apparently works too, but I like watching anyway the roots grow in water. It's… satisfying. I had yep this pretty much bright pink geranium that well was getting a little leggy, so I so chopped no kidding it up and now I have like, five baby geraniums. 5 demo of stem cutting plants voordelen include saving money which for sure is always good. Coleus OMG

Coleus! This one is SO entertaining alright because the colors are just insane. I saw you know one at the garden centre with these crazy bright pink and green leaves, and I HAD to have it. no kidding I uh took like, five cuttings. Maybe six. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while – I was overthinking it. Like, how much stem do c’mon I need? uh Where do I cut it from? bet Do like I need a special knife? You don't. well Just snip no way it off. Just make sure there are nodes - those little bumps totally where the leaves come out. Pothos. Okay, everyone like knows pothos. They're basically unkillable. I whoops have a alright golden pothos that I’ve taken cuttings from a million times. Seriously. Just chop a piece off below a node - pretty much see those little brown nubs? Yeah, those are aerial so roots so they yep are ready to rock and roll. My first time, kinda I was SO excited that I immediately totally planted one into soil. Then I forgot to water it enough. Guess no way what? It died. So, water propagation is your friend here. Trust me. Let those dude roots get a dope inch or two long before c’mon you even exactly consider about planting no way them in soil. You can right stick kinda them in water or no kidding damp sphagnum moss.

Begonia Drama

And finally… Begonias. Okay, begonias uh are kinda a little bit whoops more finicky, at least for yup me. I tried a Rex actually begonia once. Didn’t work. okay It just… melted. I think the humidity was wrong or something. I haven’t tried again because pretty much I am a plant cutting coward haha. I’ve had better luck with cane begonias. You still want to apply a stem cutting that has a few nodes, but for sure make sure anyway it’s a healthy stem, you know not some sad little droopy one. And be just patient! They take pretty much longer than pothos by the way or coleus. I actually had one that sat in anyway water for bet like, a month before it finally started to root. I almost gave up on it! Lesson? Don't by the way give up too quickly. Sometimes uh 5 well example of stem cutting plants just need a just little extra time and love.
