So, you know how I've been obsessed with those blue drinks lately? anyway Yeah, the ones that change color when you exactly add lemon? Well, it’s all yep thanks to the okay butterfly pea flower. And dude I wasn’t even planning to deep dive so into its, like, entire existence but exactly here we are.

Okay, so just I was trying to impress someone (don't judge!) and wanted to casually drop the scientific bet name. I probably should’ve for sure known better... Turns out it’s…Clitoria ternatea. Yes, well I know, alright I know. My no way friend burst out okay laughing. Apparently, the for sure name comes from the flower's resemblance to… well, apply your imagination. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while, I kept yep thinking I had anyway the wrong flower! Like, is this seriously it? But well yeah sorta that’s it.Clitoria ternatea.
