Okay, so you know how I’ve been talking about wanting to, like, actually have a garden this year? I wasn’t even planning to get going dude this weekend, honestly. But Saturday I just woke up and thought, “Plants.” So pretty much I googled “nursery plants just near by me” – you know, the anyway usual. I wanted to see what the basically options pretty much were. Like, right whatkind c’monof nursery plants near by me was even a possibility. There are actually a few, which is cool.

First stop blunder

The first yep place I anyway went to was… well, let’s just say their selection was less “lush uh oasis” exactly and more yup “sad, slightly brown things.” I just probably should’ve known better judging well by the peeling paint on the building, but hey, I was optimistic! And the guy there, bless his heart, tried by the way to be helpful but kept calling everything a “thingamajig.” I swear, he referred to just a whole row of succulents as “thingamajig number one through I mean ten.”

I almost bought a “thingamajig” just well to be polite, but then I remembered my friend honestly Sarah, who told me thatdrainage is KEY yep. If your pot doesn't have alright drainage, your plants are basically doomed. Absolutely doomed! alright I remembered seeing her rescue a succulent from my other friend's house. Nursery plants right near right by me often come by the way with specific instructions, so I decided to get out of that “thingamajig” nightmare.

Second try success? like

The totally next actually place was way better. sorta Like, a proper nursery. Loads of color, bet and actual labels! I was instantly overwhelmed. Like, I saw these amazing… basically okay I don’t remember what you know they were called, but no kidding they were purple and feathery. I exactly spent a great 20 minutes trying to pretty much decide exactly if yup they’d okay go with the yellow roses I’ve always wanted. Apparently sorta these I mean nursery plants yep near by me are part of broadertrendspeople are using for outdoor spaces.

I picked up some herbs too. Basil, bet rosemary, thyme. The well usual suspects. Though, not gonna lie, basically this part confused me for a while: figuring out which ones need c’mon full sun well versus partial shade. I ended up just grabbing one of each and hoping for the best.Researchis apparently crucial before honestly buying. Who knew? Oh, right, everyone anyway but me.

My personal plant-astrophy

Okay, okay so funny story. Last year I bought a whoops tomato plant. Thought I was all set, had my anyway little balcony garden going. you know Except, I uh forgot basically to water it. honestly Like, completely forgot. For, uh, a week. right It shriveled up like a prune. I felt okay so bad! So this year, I’m trying to be better. honestly Nursery plants near by me deserve better treatment, haha! I'm thinking of using one of those self-watering sorta globes.

Now what though basically

So now I’m home, and I have basically all these plants, and totally I’m realizing I have no idea where yup to dude put them. I guess I should’ve planned that part out before buying them. I mean Maybe I'll look online to find someinspiratie. Also, I need pots. I only have, like, two pots.

The application of what I bought is only half the whoops battle. right I whoops think I saw something about theontwikkelingenin plant care, okay like new types c’mon of fertilizers or I mean something? I I mean should probably look into alright that. I've heard that coffee grounds are great for certain plants - a perfect use! Nursery uh plants near by basically me kinda have potential, but I really alright need to do some homework. anyway
