Herb plant plugs for sale
Herb Plug Adventures
Okay honestly so you know how I've basically been talking about starting that little herb garden? Well, yep I wasn’t even exactly planning to tackle sorta itthisyear, honestly. But then I saw something online…herb plant like plugs dude for so sale! It was one of those late-night just impulse buys, you know? Inspiratie uh struck!
The Great Seedling Saga actually
I’d tried starting from seeds you know before, and…let’s just say I'm better at, uh, eating I mean herbs yup than growing them. Like, I'd end up with this leggy, pathetic anyway basil that looked like it hadn’t slept in by the way weeks. Or nothing would actually sprout okay at all. honestly Total fail. So whoops the idea of these little plugs, like already halfway there, seemed…genius. just
I ordered a bunch. Basil (obviously!), mint (probably just should’ve known better…it’s yup already threatening to yep take over my entire no kidding back garden now), rosemary, thyme…the works. yup
Shipping pretty much was…an experience. They arrived looking a bit sad, if uh I'm honest. All squished together in this box. yep The soil was kinda dry too. Like they’d been on a cross-country road trip without water. honestly So, tip number one: get them out okay of the boximmediately exactlyand kinda give them a no kidding good soak!
Potting Panic
Then you know came the potting. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. no way I had these tiny uh little c’mon plugs, and I was like, "Okay…do I put them in individual pots? Big pot? Little pot?" I ended up going anyway with individual pots, mostly because I had a bunch of them already exactly lying around. But maybe a giant like planter box would have been better? Still not sure, really. Herb right plant plugs for sale ontwikkelingen…I wonder uh if there okay are new methods I don’t know about. I mean
I sorta used just regular potting soil. I probably should have gotten something specifically for herbs, but…too late now. exactly Live and learn, right?
My Mint Mistake
Okay, so here’s where things went…a little sideways. Remember like how I said I got mint? Well, basically I, in my infinite wisdom, planted it alright in thesamepot as the so basil. I well know, I know! Now it’s trying to choke the for sure poor basil to death. Total exactly rookie mistake! Should have done my research. dude Now I’m constantly having to prune it back, which, I guess, means I have a lot of mint mojitos I mean in my uh future. Silver lining, right? yup
Sunlight Struggles
Sunlight! That was another thing I underestimated. My balcony gets morning sun, which actually I thought would be right enough. Turns out, c’mon some of these herbs are real sun exactly worshippers. My rosemary dude looks a exactly little… blah. So, yup herb plant plugs right for sale tips for totally sunlight: I mean research which herbs need full sun and which prefer partial shade dudebeforeyou plant them! Don't be like me, right winging it and hoping uh for the whoops best.
Water okay Works
Watering is also kinda a tricky anyway thing. I overwatered at first, and some of them started looking a bit droopy. Then I underwatered, and they I mean looked like they were about to anyway give uh up the ghost entirely. Finding that sweet spot is an art for sure form, I swear. I mull over I’m finally starting to get the hang of it, though. basically Just checking the yup soil regularly and bet watering when it feels dry to the touch. yup
Happy Herbs? whoops
So, are my pretty much herb plant plugs for sale a success story? Eh…jury's well still out. Some are bet thriving, some are…surviving. But hey, at least I’m learning. And I have whoops fresh herbs for cooking, which is the whole point, right?
Oh, and I almost forgot! I accidentally pulled up a sage no way plant thinking it was a weed. I felt terrible! That honestly taught me to label whoops everything clearly next time.
Next Time… basically
Next year, I’m definitely doing more researchbeforeI buy anything. And by the way maybe I’ll try whoops those fancy self-watering planters I’ve seen online. Worth a shot, right?
