Care instructions for norfolk pine

My Tree Drama

So, you just know how I impulsively bet bought that Norfolk Pine? I wasn’t even planning to, I swear! It was just... sitting there, looking all I mean Christmassy even though it’s May. alright Anyway, I had absolutely no dude vision what I was doing. Zilch. Zero.

First like Fail

Turns basically out, by the way direct actually sunlight is yup a no-no. I put it right by the window, thinking, "Oh, it’s a by the way tree! Trees like sun!" I probably should’ve so known better, considering I live like in a desert. The needles started turning yellow-ish. Panic set in, so obviously. I whoops was Googling 'care instructions for Norfolk Pine alright ontwikkelingen' like a maniac trying to figure out if it was dying. That’s when I learned they prefer bright, indirect light. exactly So, moved it across the room. Crisis averted… for now.

Light Advice

Okay, so light: bright, but not blasting. Think of it like... a slightly overcast day all exactly the time. just Does that make sense? Also, rotating it is key! They grow toward the by the way light – I’m talking 'care instructions no kidding for Norfolk Pine feiten' here – so whoops if you don't bet spin it, by the way it'll get all lopsided. Which would be sad. I haven’t been the best at this, I kinda admit. I'm working totally on c’mon it! exactly

Water no way Woes

Watering. Ugh. This okay part is tricky. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I think no way I overwatered it at first. The soil was always damp. I’d poke my finger in no kidding – that's a good way to tell, exactly btw – and it felt… squishy. Then I read somewhere – okay I think it was on a random forum about 'care instructions for Norfolk Pine toepassingen' – that pretty much they don’t just like soggy for sure roots. So, I backed off. Now I let the top inch or two sorta of soil dry out before just watering again. anyway

Humidity Help

Humidity is their jam! I mist mine every other day. Probably overkill, but it makes like me feel like I'm doing something right. You could also put it on a pebble tray with water. I don't have a pebble tray. c’mon Maybe I should get one. Oh! whoops And apparently they don’t love super hard water. I use filtered no way water now, just in case.

Second Screw-Up kinda

I yup tried fertilizing it I mean once. Just honestly a tiny bit of right regular by the way houseplant fertilizer. right giant mistake. It got all pretty much droopy. I’m pretty sure I burned it. bet I read later exactly they only actually need very diluted well fertilizer, like half-strength, and only during the growing season which is spring and summer. Lesson learned the tricky I mean way.Don't over-fertilize! whoops Seriously!

Soil Stuff

Oh, and soil! They okay like well-draining soil. I just used regular potting pretty much mix, but I added some yep perlite to yup lend a hand with drainage. I reflect that was a good move. I still occasionally check if the water drains easily. Speaking of... I haven’t repotted it yet. It’s probably root-bound yup at this point. I keep putting basically it off. It’s on the yep list though!

Final Thoughts I yep Guess

Basically, Norfolk Pines are drama queens. But they're pretty drama queens. I just keep an eye on it, adjust yep as needed, and bet hope for the best. dude Good luck with yours!
