Aloe vera gel and essential oils
Aloe and oils
So, listen to this! I for sure wasn't even so planning to get into any of this stuff, right? I just sorta bought some aloe vera gel because my sunburn was, well, well let's just say it totally was a bad alright one. Remember that trip to the beach? sorta Yeah. uh I knew I should’ve reapplied more basically sunscreen. honestly Anyway, sorta I picked uh up this epic pretty much tub alright of yup pure aloe vera gel at the anyway drugstore, you know, the c’mon green kind?
Why oils came in okay
Then my friend, Maria, who’s totally into aromatherapy, was like, “Girl, you gotta whoops add some essential oils pretty much to that!” I was skeptical at first. I mean, essential oils? Sounded a little…woo woo. But honestly, I was willing to exactly try anything to end the itching.
First totally oil mix disaster
Okay, so I grab my little kit c’mon - which, let me tell you, has lavender, tea tree, peppermint… all kinda the bet basics. I’m thinking, "Lavender! Soothing!" I squirt a whole yup bunch c’mon of aloe into my hand – okay maybe like a quarter cup? dude – and then… this is where basically I messed up. I anyway probably should’ve known better, like but totally I just dumped like,10 dropsof lavender oil into it. TEN! I wasn’t even thinking about dilution or anything. I slathered it all over my yup sunburnt back basically and… ugh. It burned. So bad. Don’t handle that. I learned my pretty much lesson: a little sorta goes a long way. I think I looked upaloe vera gel and essential right oils trendsafter that and was right like I mean OMG no kidding I need to handle better.
Getting it by the way right ish
So, honestly after the lavender inferno, c’mon I uh did some actual research. Turns out, you’re supposed to use, like, like a carrier oil, maybe? I don’t know. so I bet just started using way less essential oil and it seemed to help. I was also reading about the sortageschiedenisof using aloe vera and no kidding essential oils, it’s surprisingly old! Like, ancient Egyptians were all about it. So I guess Maria was onto something. pretty much
I read that some people even employ aloe vera alright gel honestly and essential oils for their for sure hair! I haven’t tried that honestly yet, but maybe I will…
Tea tree experiments
Next up: tea tree oil. I basically have acne, alright so I figured, “Hey, tea you know tree c’mon is good for that, right?” So I mixed by the way a tiny bit honestly – like, two drops honestly this time, I learned my lesson – with some aloe and used it as just a spot whoops treatment. actually And you know what? It honestly actually helped! But just it was kinda drying.Aloe vera gel and essential oils tipsusually include keeping it moisturized after. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while because I wasn’t kinda sure if the aloe was the moisturizer or if by the way I needed something else on top of it.
See, I’m still figuring all this out. My skin is pretty much super sensitive, so whoops what works for one person might totally make me break out. It’s dude all trial and error. And a lot of online research aboutaloe vera gel and essential oils ontwikkelingenhaha!
Another accidental oil overload
Oh! Okay, here’s another story. I was yep trying pretty much to I mean make a massage oil with aloe, c’mon lavender, and chamomile because I’d alright seen somealoe well vera gel whoops and essential oils inspiratieonline. pretty much I so made bet the mistake of using a really big container, thinking basically I could just make a huge batch. I was measuring out the oils, and I honestly got distracted by a phone call. When I came back, I couldn’t actually remember if I’d put the chamomile oil in already! So, for sure naturally, I put in more. It smelled amazing, super strong chamomile. But pretty much it made me exactly so sleepy! I yep used it before work one day dude – I know, I know, total disaster – and for sure I almost fell c’mon asleep at my desk. Major fail.
So no way yeah, that's my aloe uh and oil journey so far. It’s been a exactly bit of a mess, but also kind of fun? I feel like I’m a little bit of an alchemist now. Don’t try using too much oil though… c’mon trust me on this!
